HE Thin Tubes – Phonak and Unitron hearing aids in the Spice, Quest, BeLong, Venture (S, Q, B and V) and NHS Nathos S+ / Auto ranges use the HE thin tubes which have an external screw fitting as per image, the tube screws IN to the hearing aid body.
SDS4 Thin Tubes – Phonak and Unitron hearing aids in the Marvel, Paradise, Lumity (M, P and L) and NHS Nathos Nova ranges use the SDS4 thin tubes with an internal screw fitting as per image, the tube screws ON to an external thread.
If unsure what to order simply unscrew the thin tube from your hearing aid and compare, if you have had your hearing aids a few years it’s more likely to be a HE tube you need, if your hearing aids are newer then more likely an SDS4 tube.
All Phonak tubes sizes are available as 0, 1, 2, 3 and SDS4 tubes are also available in size 00.
Domes are here. Please note, SDS4 tubes MUST be worn with SDS4 domes, all other Phonak thin tubes use SDS3 domes!
Phonak and Unitron also have have older versions of thin tubes. Thin tube fittings previous to Phonak Spice / Unitron Era range are Phonak Slim Tubes / Unitron Moda that have a screw fitting (thread inside the housing), and Phonak Micro Tubes / Unitron Moda II that are a pop fit. If you require these older thin tubes please ask, we may have in stock or be able to source. Rarely seen nowadays.
